Sweet Children

This is a Very Special Group of Children. They worked to raise money to help us Bring Brian Home!! My family and I want those children to know that they are a blessing and we are praying for them.Thank you all for serving the Lord and helping to Bring Brian Home!!

It was so amazing for us to see God working in our adoption process. We know He has put the burden on our heart to adopt Brian and we know that He will provide. Even when it seems that the well has run dry and so many families are not doing well at all with their fundraisers, we know that God will make a way. As I write this I think of the many families I know that are trying hard to raise the funds they need. When I see this picture of those sweet children I am reminded that GOD is in control!!!! So to all of my REECE"S RAINBOW FRIENDS out there trying hard to raise money to bring those sweet children home.....Remember GOD  is in control and He will provide.

Are You Hungry??

We had hoped to have a Dessert Auction at a Fundraiser we were planning to have, but things did not work out as we had hoped. I had a sweet friend suggest to me, to have a Dessert Blog Auction...so here it is!
Some of these items we can ship....the cookies, rice crispy treats and cake balls. Some of them we will not be able to ship. Please take a look....be careful, if you're not hungry....you will be!!
Remember, this is to help us Bring Brian Home!!
When this auction is over,  you can decide when you would like to have your Dessert made for you.
BTW, some of these ladies had pictures for me, but not all of them. So some of these Pictures I found on the Internet, but what you get will be GOOD, you will not be disappointed!!
Dessert Auction will END at 11:59pm Wednesday March 2nd.

BEAUTIFUL....Just The Way You Are!!

This video is so sweet, and Sarah Grace is BEAUTIFUL!!! This video makes me cry!

We are having some last minute additions to our Dessert Auction, so I will post Everything tomorrow. As I said in my last post, sometimes it is hard to pull everything together.
Please Pray that this Dessert Auction goes well, some items we will be able to ship, other items will be for Western Washington only.

Can You Tell......

I am not very good at blogging, I am not great at fundraising, but I praise God that He has helped me each step of the way. I still find it challenging to pull everything together for the auctions and fundraising. I am also somewhat weary in well doing. Please pray for me. We are trying to rescue our little Brian and there is so much that goes into all of that.We have just a few more documents to notarize.Lord willing everything will be approved and our Dossier will be complete. PLEASE PRAY as we try to get our USCIS expedited.
I will be posting our Dessert Blog Auction tomorrow. On the heels of that auction I will be doing another Blog Auction. Several people have said that they have items for me, so I am gathering those items or info about those items to put on my blog next week when the dessert auction is finished. We are also planning a puzzle fundraiser, we found the perfect puzzle and I hope to add that to my blog, I may post that one in a side column. We thank you all for your prayers! We praise God for His love and mercy!!

Where We Are Right Now

We have been working hard on finishing our Dossier, we will have all of the Documents we need and they will all be notarized this week!! Woo Hoo!!! We are raising more paper work funds, we will need to have 30 documents Apostilled at $15.00 dollars per document and we will need to wire our translation fee in when we send in our Dossier. So we need about $1,000.00 more for paper work fees. Then we will need to hit the travel fundraising hard!! We are trying to get everything done quickly so we can get to Brian asap. Right now, between Brian's Grant money and our FSP donations we have $5,917.50. It takes about $20,000.00 to $25,000.00 to travel. Lord willing we hope to be able to do a blind referral, which would take another $12,000.00. We appreciate all of the help we have received so far. We appreciate your prayers, we need God to help us each step of the way. We praise God for all he has done so far, it is so amazing to see Him work in our own adoption journey as well as many other families!. Right now, we are still running the BBQ Beef and Lasagna Fundraisers, we will be starting our Dessert Blog Auction this week and we know there are several families from RR doing puzzle fundraisers. We really like that idea, so we will also be doing a Puzzle fundraiser later this week, so right now we are still very busy, it is hard work to rescue an orphan...but so worth every effort!!

Measure Up.......

I have learned so much about myself since we have been on this Adoption Journey. I have been a servant of Jesus Christ since I was 16 years old. There have been times in my walk with the Lord when I have been steadily growing and times when I have been struggling. I am definitely not perfect that is for sure. I do strive to please the Lord with my life, I want Him to get all the glory from my life! As we travel this journey to bring Brian home, I have daily opportunities to see where I am at with the Lord. God put the burden for Brian on our hearts, we have NO doubt that God is right here in the midst of this adoption. Daily He reveals himself in big ways or small ways, but we know He is here with us!
We know many families that are on or have been on this adoption journey, it would be easy to get our eyes off of God and on to others, where they are at and measure ourselves with them. It would be easy to get our eyes off of God and on this situation with Brian...he may be transferred if we don't get there quickly. It would be easy to get our eyes off of God and on to all that WE are doing to bring Brain home, and to top it off, the sin which doth so easily beset us, rears its ugly self once again. For me it is worry.....my besetting sin...worry. My husband...Mr. Steady has really helped me in so many ways, to see the times in this journey when I am allowing worry to take over, when I start to lose focus on the Lord. I am so thankful for a godly husband who loves the Lord so much, who wants to help his wife to grow in the Lord. So, like my husband, I try to measure myself with the Lord daily. I know that He is in control, He knows right where our friends are at and at times has allowed us to see Him work things out for them. He knows far better than we do exactly where Brian is and what the situation is, He loves that little man more than we could ever comprehend, He reminds me often that we do have our part in this journey....paper chasing, fundraising...and that that we could not get it done without Him! And ....uh..um.........the WORRY...I can get victory if I give it all to Him, daily! God is so good and if I want to measure up, than He is the only one I need to measure my life with!! I do fail sometimes and God picks me back up and sets me straight on the right path again, I am thankful for a God who is so long suffering for me, and He never gives up on me! I am thankful for my church, all the sermons lately have something that God has revealed to me that helps me on this journey!! GOD is so AMAZING, I love this wonderful, mighty GOD that I serve and I praise Him for all that He is to me!!
P.S.
Please check back soon, we are going to be having our DESSERT AUCTION SOON!! Thanks!!

Dessert Auction Coming Soon!!

We are constantly looking for ways to raise funds to help us bring Brian home, right now we are selling food items. We are selling my husband's Delicious BBQ Beef, $10.00 a pound, it comes frozen, with easy directions for heating, it is very good. We have a friend that makes some Awesome Lasagna 1 pan for $30.00, it also comes frozen with easy cooking instructions. We have had many people buy both to help us and we have had great feedback for both items!! This is for the locals only...unless you are willing to pay extra for Special Shipping.
We are getting ready to start a Dessert Auction on our blog, we hope to have it up and running in  a few days, there are just a few more details to work out. Should be very exciting...unfortunately it is once again for local people only, unless someone would like to pay extra for Special Shipping. The Desserts are all home made by several ladies from our church and some friends who live in our area. I will gather pictures of the dessert and post them, then we will accept bids, when the auction is finished we will coordinate to have the desserts MADE FRESH. This will be FUN!!
So Check back really soon to see our list of Wonderful Desserts!!
Thank you all for your prayers!!
